W. Bruce DelValle represents, among others, various individual civil rights and constitutional law litigants, as well as individuals and companies involved in complex litigation. He is actively involved as sole or lead counsel in numerous federal and state lawsuits nationwide. Mr. DelValle has relied upon his engineering background and his extensive experience in technology and related complex litigation matters to assist clients globally.
Additionally, Mr. DelValle has experience in numerous international products liability litigations, including chemical and agricultural pesticide products liability cases and Chinese defective firearms products tort litigation. He was first-chair lead counsel in the defense and counterclaim of a $100 million defamation lawsuit involving a world-famous sports figure that resulted in settlement payments to his client and no payment to the Plaintiff. Mr. DelValle was also lead counsel in federal and state court litigations involving an internet university and a multi-location Charter School. Mr. DelValle also has extensive experience in complex and hard fought employment litigation and labor union disputes and contract negotiations.
Mr. DelValle is a member of the Florida Bar, the Georgia Bar (inactive status) and numerous Federal Court Trial Bars. Prior to attending law school, Mr. DelValle worked as a Level I and II Nuclear Quality Assurance/Quality Control Engineer and Field Engineer for the Bechtel Power Corporation and as a Consultant in the nuclear power industry.
Mr. DelValle graduated cum laude from Washington & Lee University School of Law in 1988. Mr. DelValle now works primarily in Washington, D.C. and resides in Maryland with his wife and two children.
Mr. Fein then served as special assistant to the Assistant Attorney General for the Office of Legal Counsel in the U.S. Department of Justice. Among other accomplishments, Mr. Fein drafted an authoritative monograph on impeachable high crimes and misdemeanors as the House Judiciary Committee commenced an impeachment investigation of President Richard M. Nixon.
Mr. Fein also served as assistant director for the Office of Policy and Planning, special assistant to the Assistant Attorney General for Antitrust, and Associate Deputy Attorney General under President Ronald Reagan. In the latter position, Mr. Fein inaugurated a robust process to vet potential federal judicial nominees for interpretive philosophies consistent with the federal judicial role envisioned by the Constitution’s architects.
Mr. Fein was next appointed general counsel to the Federal Communications Commission under Chairman Mark Fowler at the time of Judge Harold Greene’s divestiture decree for AT&T. Mr. Fein spearheaded the Commission’s repeal of the schoolmarm-like “Fairness Doctrine,” which gave birth to talk radio.
In 1987, Mr. Fein began the private practice of law and commenced more than two decades of weekly law and foreign policy columns for The Washington Times.
His most recent books are Constitutional Peril: The Life and Death Struggle for Our Constitution and Democracy, and American Empire Before The Fall. Mr. Fein appears regularly on national and international television and radio and in the print media.
We have served in Congress, the Department of Justice, the Federal Communications Commission, and federal courts. We have testified before congressional committees on numerous occasions. We have taught at George Washington University. We have been associated with the Heritage Foundation, the American Enterprise Institute, the CATO Institute, and the Brookings Institution. We appear regularly in the national and international media. We have collaborative contacts with an array of NGOs ranging from the Chamber of Commerce to the American Civil Liberties Union.
